Chaperones

Parents who wish to volunteer as a band chaperone must complete the Additions Online Application. This application must be submitted each semester. To chaperone during the fall, parents must submit the application after August 1. Click here for Additions

Concessions

We are now looking for a few good men and women to help staff our concession stand for the upcoming varsity football season. The Concessions Committee represents a huge portion of the money that the band needs to operate. Your participation is greatly appreciated! In previous years, we have had one person or a couple, run the concession committee and recruit volunteers for the entire operation. However, this year, we will divide the concessions duties into four separate areas of responsibility. Read more about Concessions.

Fundraising

The membership in attendance at the last Booster meeting voted to eliminate the position of 2nd Vice President / Fundraising Chair in favor of breaking down the fundraising activities into smaller committees and recruit individuals to chair each event separately. Please consider participating in what ever way you are able. Read more about Fundraising.

Student Accounts

Every member of the Sound Of The Braves has a unique Student Account where we keep track of how much they owe for band fees, how much they've raised in fundraising, etc. The Student Accounts are maintained using the Charms Music Assistant, a web-based system where parents and students can check the status of their account at any time. An ID/Password is provided for each account. Returning students will continue to use the same account they had last year. New students will have their accounts setup by the beginning of the school year. Contact David Dittmer at bandnews@bellsouth.net for questions about the student accounts.


Eclectic Sky

Bill Walch has announced that Eclectic Sky Mobile Recording Studios will cease operations. He has recorded the performances of the band for the past several years. These recordings are still available, he is accepting orders until July 31, 2008. Click here for Order Form


Guard Rehearsal

Guard rehearsals for the upcoming year have started. If there are any students that are still interested in joining the guard, there will be open auditions throughout the summer.


School Starting Times

School hours have been changed starting in Fall 2008. The band directors will be working closely with the athletic director to work out a reasonable time for after school marching band. Everyone will be informed as soon as it is determined the best times for rehearsals.
